第三天：抓住基础 词句为先---核心词汇篇之二（3984字）
对于核心词汇的掌握一定要十分重视，因为考试答案常涉及它们。例如，resent （忿恨，怨恨）这个核心词汇在2005年考试的阅读部分第一篇文章中考了数次，第二题就是一例：
The statement “it is all too monkey” (Last line, Paragraph 1) implies that
[A] monkeys are also outraged by slack rivals.
[B] resenting unfairness is also monkeys’ nature.
[C] monkeys, like humans, tend to be jealous of each other.
[D] no animals other than monkeys can develop such emotions.
包含resenting的[B]选项为正确答案，对应原文第一段的sense of grievance（忿恨感）。
在2007年的考试中，阅读部分第三篇文章的第一题考了核心词汇vulnerable（易受攻击的，易受影响的）：
